The new Imoca Hugo Boss was presented on Thursday in London on the Thames, in the presence of its skipper Alex Thomson.
Welshman Alex Thomson will be taking part in his fifth Vendée Globe in November 2020 at the helm of the new Hugo Boss monohull. Designed by the architectural firm VPLP, this new Imoca with its pure and aggressive lines has the particularity of having a completely closed cockpit.
Other news: Hugo Boss will be taking part in its first race in the Transat Jacques (Le Havre – Salvador de Bahia), which is scheduled to start on October 27th. Thomson will team up with Neal McDonald.
