On the occasion of the 7th edition, virtual but very real, of the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat, the Portuguese university project Técnico Solar Boat stands out from the crowd!
On Wednesday 8th July 2020, the Monaco Solar & Energy Boat Challenge, which for the past seven years has presented all the initiatives in terms of motorboat propulsion, will have been synonymous with innovation for yachting and for the Principality. Faced with the impossibility for the international teams to make the trip due to the health crisis of the Covid-19, the Yacht Club de Monaco proposed a virtual format to the competitors, through online auditions of the eighteen teams competing on their technological advances.

- Eco Conception Prize : SBM Offshore E-Racing Team (Monaco)
- Spirit Prize : TU Delft Boat Team (Netherlands)
- Coups de Coeur : Hydros Team UI (Indonesia) & Hynova (France)
